The Dub Cavern Studio is a cosy recording and mix room set up by Producer & Engineer Mikey Shaw, it is located in the City Centre of Norwich. The studio comprises of a hybrid set up of vintage analogue recording gear, handmade 'one offs', and high quality converters set within a digital interface/multitracking system.

The son of a sound engineer and brought up playing in jazz, funk and reggae bands; Mikey began producing music as teenager out of a love for reggae and dub music.
After self-producing two EP's for his own bands - Solko and The Piratones the Dub Cavern Studio emerged and Mikey became a cornerstone of the Norwich music scene, recording, mixing and producing. Mikey has become an established engineer and producer in his own right, working with a variety of local and International artists, bands, record labels and producers, whilst releasing music and limited vinyl runs for his own productions as Dub Cavern.
